Nambitha Manqola is a professional Librarian with over ten years of experience in various academic library sections. Currently work as an Assistant Director of Research and Scholarly Communication at the University of the Free State. In addition to being a public speaker and conference presenter, Ms. Manqola served the Free State LIASA branch as a public relations officer. She was the inaugural recipient of the Nevada LMS Emerging Librarian Award for 2022/23 and the Nevada-LIASA ambassador. She is passionate about digital literacy, advocacy & support open access initiatives, copyright and e-journal management platforms.

Ms Manqola holds master’s degree in information sciences from UNISA and she specialized with Research Data Management in Selected Universities in South Africa.
